Episode 157: I love that we all dress up and look our best for "Homecoming Day". But what happens on Day 2?
A little more of the same. Day 3? Maybe it's starting to wear off. Day 4? The bloom is off the rose, my friends. (The four-stages are not in real-time. It may take months to get to Stage 4 but we all get there eventually.) :-) |

Episode 160: There was a day when I felt like I'd had it rough. My husband listened over dinner, commented politely, gasped on cue,
and then proceeded to tell me that his plane had lost all hydraulics and the Kadena Fire Department was waiting on the runway when he landed.
He told it in the same calm manner that he told me the next day that his planelost an engine. And also just as calmly as the day he told me he'd had a fire onboard. I just couldn't imagine anything I'd go through being as bad as all of that! |
