January 8, 2006. Episode 10: I.D. Cards...
When will they ever get better? I think Jenny got off easy. I cried after my most recent one.
A gate-guard once looked at my I.D. and said "Is that you?"
Worse, of course, was when he looked at my face and said "Oh, well, yeah, it is." haha. WHAT???
Another I.D. photo, a long time ago, showed me with one nostril bigger than the other. MUCH bigger. It was lovely. |

January 15, 2006. Episode 11: A lady at the base medical center actually said this to me: "I don't have to talk to you. You're just the spouse."
It was the incident that gave birth to the Jenny comic strip.

The inspectors used dental mirrors to check under the rims of the toilets. The base where she and my brother lived required
that the residents actually take their blinds
and their stoves outside to hose them down and scrub them clean before they could pass inspection |
